Tami Thompson

Tami Thompson is the Founding Director of Counseling at Life Solutions Counseling and Training Center. She is certified through the International Association of Biblical Counselors and a member of the Association of Biblical Counselors with a Bachelors degree in Biblical Counseling through Masters International School of Divinity. She is a graduate of the Gateway Biblical Counseling and Training Center and also attended Tennessee Technological University School of Nursing. Tami is a graduate of K-Church Institute and has been in ministry for more than twenty years. Her expertise is in family counseling, parenting issues, addictions counseling, fear issues, and complex personal issues counseling. Tami is currently working toward a Master's degree in Theology.

Tami is the author of the student curriculum Making Teens Victorious. She has also written curriculum for Vacation Bible School programs (Sensational Creation, Agapeland, Paradise Parade). Tami is married to Ray, who is Lead Pastor of Gateway Central Church of the Nazarene.

Dr. Mark Hager

Dr. Mark Hager is a former career Police Officer in the St. Louis area and is now the Lead Pastor of First Church of the Nazarene in Kirksville Missouri. Pastor Mark is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and he holds a Doctorate of Practical Theology (Biblical Counseling) with Master’s International Divinity School. He is the Founding Director of Counseling for the From The Heart Biblical Counseling Center in Kirksville and is currently completing his PhD in Biblical Counseling with Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburg Indiana. Additionally, he holds counseling certifications with the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC.org), and the International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC.net). He is also a charter member of the Association of Biblical Counselors (www.christiancounseling.com). He is a workshop instructor with NANC (NANC.org) and has written many counseling articles to include being published as “contributing author” with Harvest House Publishers in the book, “The Popular Encyclopedia of Apologetics.”

Pastor Hager is also a New Start Coordinator for the Missouri District Church of the Nazarene. He and His wife Cindy are counselors at the From the Heart Biblical Counseling & Training Center in Kirksville Missouri.

Pastor Mark and his wife, Cindy, have six boys and 13 grandchildren.

Annette Peterson

Annette Peterson certified through the International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC) and a member of the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC). Annette is a graduate of the Gateway Biblical Counseling and Training Center. She specializes in marriage counseling, parenting issues, eating disorders, and complex personal issues counseling.

Annette is the Worship Pastor for Gateway Central Church of the Nazarene and a hairstylist.

Annette is married to Eric, who is a member of the Worship Arts team and a talented musician. They have three children and six grandchildren.
