Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in information systems, computer science or a related technical discipline, and 10+ years of experience in IT field. In addition, this position requires extensive application support experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows, both server and workstation varieties. Advanced knowledge of IP-based networking, Cisco equipment, telecommunications, mobile devices, and web-based computing required. Excellent spelling and grammar skills with the ability to communicate in a courteous, tactful and concise manner are essential. Must have an ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues, present ideas in user-friendly language, and focus on rapport building, listening, and questioning skills.

The IT Department has an excellent opportunity in our St. Louis office to fill a new position for a Technical Services Manager. This position is responsible for CCA’s network infrastructure and end user support. The Technical Services Manager manages a small team of technology professionals specializing in both network infrastructure and desktop support. CCA is primarily a Microsoft environment. Our technical infrastructure consists of approximately 350 workstations and 100 servers in two primary locations and several satellite locations. Specific responsibilities include:
1. Day-to-day management of projects involving managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring the integrity of IT technical operations, administration and support related to servers, storage, networking, data center and security.
2. Manage team to respond to end user support requests in a timely fashion providing quick resolution and outstanding customer service.
3. Identify opportunities for improvement of processes and procedures, as well as employee performance.
4. Must be able to identify, measure, and report key performance indicators for the IT staff’s areas of responsibility, setting goals based on those indicators and taking corrective action to meet those goals when necessary.
5. Develop and maintain partnerships with internal departments and divisions; meet regularly to ensure current IT needs are being met and to plan for future needs.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with key hardware, software, and service vendors.
7. Budgetary responsibility for technical services area of the technology department.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree plus at least 10 years of experience in information systems IT technical operations, administration and support related to servers, storage, networking, data center, security, digital content back up and IT continuity management. Must have at least 5 years management experience managing an end user technical support team, including issue management, reporting and analysis with a focus on customer service. ITIL certification / experience is a major plus. Serves as a strong leader and resource to the department and entire CCA organization regarding information technology use. Must have experience managing technical teams including network engineers, systems administrators, network administrators and telecommunications vendors supporting a distributed environment. The position requires experience working with Windows operating systems, Exchange Server, Microsoft virtualization technology and other Microsoft network technologies. 7. Manage all necessary data on specified software (www.salesforce.com) including, but not limited to, all contacts, ownership information, business information, renewal dates, and all key information as required by supervisor and membership director.
8. Reach all sales goals. 9. Work closely to help other membership team members. May be called upon to help train team members. 10. This position requires a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred) and at least 4-6 years related work experience.
